Dans Askina Turkish Dance Ensemble invites you to our Rakkas Minneapolis Gala Show

Anatolian Origins: Dance & Music From Across The Ottoman Empire

Anatolian Origins will feature traditional and Contemporary dance and music from Turkey and countries that were part of the Ottoman Empire, featuring:

  • International Turkish Dance Artists Reyhan Tuzsuz, Serkan Tutar, and Artemis Mourat
  • Dans Askina Turkish Dance Ensemble
  • Local Turkish Musical Group On the Way to Uskudar
  • The Turkish-American Association of Minnesota’s Folkdance Troupe
  • Middle Eastern Dancers from across the US and Canada

Rakkas Minneapolis is made possible by the voters of minnesota through a grant from the metropolitan regional arts council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
