An exhibition of paintings by Susan Solomon based on a short story by local author, Charlie M. Broderick.  Tree in Winter, printed locally by Red Bird Chapbooks, is about a painter with schizophrenia named June.  These works are colorful images that could have been painted by June, the gut-wrenching character in Charlie’s story.  Solomon tried to see through June’s eyes, to feel what she felt.  A collaboration between the written word and the visual, this exhibition will include a reading at the opening reception.
