Opening Reception: Thursday, December 6, 2018

Since its founding in 1940 by six women, the Weavers Guild of Minnesota (“WGM”) has established itself as a nationally-recognized resource for perserving and advancing the arts of weaving, spinning and dyeing. WGM offers classes, workshops and events, serving nearly 700 new and experienced fiber artists annually.  WGM was the catalyst in the formation of the Textile Center in 1994, where WGM currently maintains classroom, retail, office and library space. WGM is one of the oldest, and is currently the largest, weavers guild in the United States. More information about the organization can be found at weaversguildmn.org or on Instagram@weaversguildmn.
