More… The deadline for Visual Art Exhibition proposals is February 1. Visual Arts exhibitions may explore an artistic medium, form, genre, culture or theme and often include an educational or outreach component. We accept proposals from members or nonmembers, individuals or organizations, artists or curators. You may submit a proposal based on your original work, as a representative of a group of artists or as a curator. • Proposals are reviewed in February of each year. Proposals must be postmarked no later than February 1 to be reviewed that year. You are notified of results by April 1. • Selection criteria include the quality of the work to be exhibited and how the work will aid in providing a diverse and exciting exhibition schedule. The potential for community involvement and educational and interpretive content may also be considered. • A solo exhibition may require up to 40 images/works.
